STATEMENT
As a photographer specialising in documentary photography and (slow) visual storytelling, I approach my work with a commitment to accuracy, depth, and integrity. My work is driven by a profound dedication to capturing authentic narratives that reflect the complexities of contemporary life.
I focus on the environment, social justice, and political issues, using my photography to document critical realities while showcasing the resilience and strength of individuals and communities. By drawing attention to pressing challenges, I aim to inspire reflection and foster dialogue.
I believe in the power of visual storytelling to do more than inform—it can inspire meaningful change. Each photograph I create is a record of lived experiences and an opportunity to connect audiences with stories that might otherwise remain untold.
Environmental protection is central to my practice. I deliberately limit my travel outside Europe, concentrating on local and regional stories to reduce my environmental impact. I only travel further when I feel my perspective can contribute uniquely to a narrative. This approach reflects my belief in responsible storytelling that aligns with sustainability.
Living in the heart of Europe, in Esch-Uelzecht, Luxembourg, provides a unique advantage for my work. Situated at a central crossroads, I am perfectly positioned to travel effortlessly and efficiently across the continent, reaching diverse locations in both mainland and insular Europe with ease. This strategic location allows me to respond swiftly to emerging stories and capture the essence of Europe's multifaceted landscapes, cultures, and issues, all while maintaining a broad and dynamic perspective on the continent's most pressing matters.
